We are changing drip level to drip score. We felt that “drip level” was not enough to fully convey the score of a product. A scale 0-10 will be used instead of 0-5 with scores being based on certain metrics listed below.

• Drip score = functionality score + swag score

  • Functionality score: does it do what it’s supposed to do well?

  • Swag score: does the product look cool / have a good name behind it

  • 0-7 functionality and 0-3 swag

    • We put more emphasis on functionality rather than looks.
    • Scoring goals and taking the ball away are more important than looks (but looks are still good).
