01Who we are
LaxDrip (“LaxDrip,” “we,” “us”) runs laxdrip.com, an independent lacrosse gear review site. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, read a review, join our newsletter or click a link to a retailer, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using laxdrip.com you agree to this policy. If you have a question about it, email connor@laxdrip.com.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign ups. Your email address when you subscribe.
- Messages. Your name, email address and anything you include when you email us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. Your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and time spent on the site.
- Cookies and similar tools. Small files and identifiers set by us and by the partners listed below. See the next section.
- Link clicks. When you click a link to a retailer, that retailer can record that the visit came from LaxDrip.
We do not collect payment details. Purchases happen on the retailer’s site, never on laxdrip.com.
04How we use information
- Run, maintain and improve laxdrip.com and our reviews.
- Send the newsletter you asked for.
- Answer your emails.
- Understand which reviews and guides are most useful.
- Track affiliate referrals so we are credited for purchases.
- Protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats.
- Meet our legal obligations.
05Affiliate links
LaxDrip is reader supported. Many product links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change our scores or rankings.
When you leave laxdrip.com for a retailer, that retailer’s privacy policy applies to anything you do there. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
07Your choices
- Newsletter. Unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of every email, or email connor@laxdrip.com.
- Cookies. Block or clear cookies in your browser.
- Analytics. Use your browser’s privacy settings or an opt out tool from [analytics provider].
- Do Not Track. There is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so the site does not currently respond to them.
08Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, other US states, the UK and the EU, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct or delete it.
- Opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent you gave earlier.
To make a request, email connor@laxdrip.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will answer within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
09Children's privacy
Lacrosse players of every age read LaxDrip, but the site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child gave us information, email connor@laxdrip.com and we will delete it.
10Retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, such as until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, or as long as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Big changes will be called out on the site or in the newsletter.
